When you create an account we collect your full name and email address. When you create a memorial we collect information about your pet (name, species, breed, dates, photos, story, traits) as well as your name as the memorial owner. When you interact with the site (lighting candles, leaving tributes) we record that activity linked to your account or session. We do not collect payment information — donations are processed entirely through PayPal.
We use your data to provide the service: creating and displaying memorials, managing your account, and sending transactional emails (account confirmation, memorial approval notifications, tribute and candle notifications). We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.
Approved memorial pages — including your pet's name, photos, story, traits, timeline, and tributes — are publicly visible to all visitors. Your account email address is never displayed publicly. Tributes show the author's name as entered on their account. Candle counts are shown publicly but individual candle lighters are not identified.

PetHeavenOnline uses session cookies to keep you logged in while you use the site. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser or log out. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Your account information and all associated content (memorials, photos, tributes) are retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data — including memorials, photos, and tributes — is permanently deleted immediately. We do not retain anonymized copies of your memorials after account deletion.
You can access and update your account information at any time through your account page. You can delete your account — and all associated data — at any time through Settings on your account page. To request a copy of your data or to raise any privacy concern, contact us at admin@petheavenonline.com. We will respond within 14 days.
PetHeavenOnline is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has registered or submitted content, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
All connections to PetHeavenOnline are encrypted using HTTPS. Photos and media are stored on AWS S3 with controlled access. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
PetHeavenOnline is operated from Israel. Our hosting infrastructure (Render) and media storage (AWS S3) are located in the United States. By using the service, you consent to your data being transferred to and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of PetHeavenOnline after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
